Upon initial publication, Authors grant the journal the right to publish the work and simultaneously grant a license to others under the Creative Commons Attribution–ShareAlike 4.0 International License (CC BY-SA 4.0). This license permits others to share, use, and adapt the work, provided that proper attribution is given to the Authors and JOSEM: Journal of Sustainable and Economic Management as the original place of publication.

Provisions regarding the non-exclusive distribution of the published work (e.g., depositing the work in an institutional repository or republishing it as a book) may be arranged separately, with appropriate acknowledgment of JOSEM: Journal of Sustainable and Economic Management as the first publisher.
