JOSEM: Journal of Sustainable and Economic Management is committed to upholding academic integrity and high standards of publication ethics. Therefore, all manuscripts submitted to the journal are subject to a plagiarism screening process prior to the peer-review stage.

Plagiarism screening is conducted by the editorial team using reliable plagiarism detection software, namely Turnitin, to identify textual similarities, duplication, or potential plagiarism. Manuscripts with a similarity index below 20% will proceed to the peer-review process.

Manuscripts with a similarity index above 20% will be rejected, and authors will be formally notified via email. In cases of minor and unintentional similarity, the editor may request revisions before the manuscript is reconsidered.

JOSEM does not tolerate any form of publication misconduct, including plagiarism, self-plagiarism, data fabrication, and data falsification.
